A big rig went out of control and overturned last night.
According to the California Highway Patrol , a tractor trailer rig was northbound on Highway 86 near Air Park Road when the big rig drifted off the road went out of control and rolled over. The accident caused both fuel tanks to rupture and spill an estimated 150 to 200 gallons of diesel fuel on the roadway and dirt shoulder. The fuel , a hazardous material , caused the roadway to be closed while Haz-Mat crews worked to clean up the spill. The driver of the big rig , 42-year old Jorge Garcia of Mexicali , was not injured.
