The choices are appointment, special election, operate with three members until the November election. There are at least five people interested in serving on the City Council. The five interested residents participated in a forum last week in Calexico. They are German J. Patricia Lizarraga with 23 years with the County as an Accountant-Auditor, and 40 years in the accounting field. Adriana Marquez with 15 years of management experience, five years in banking and 12 years in education. And, Lisa Tylenda with over a decade of municipal experience.
