Two bicycle riders were arrested in separate incidents.

On Saturday evening shortly before 8 O'clock, after a short pursuit, El Centro police stopped a bicycle rider in the 1500 block of Hamilton. The cyclist was found to be in possession of fentanyl and an airsoft replica gun. The 19-year-old also had several outstanding warrants. He was booked into Imperial County Jail.

On Sunday morning at about 11:20 a.m., El Centro police stopped a 29-year-0ld man after a brief pursuit, the man was detained in the 400 block of Brighton Avenue. The man was found to have multiple outstanding warrants including Possession of a Controlled Substance, Falsely Identifying  to a Police Officer, Domestic Violence and Battery. The man was arrested a booked into Imperial County Jail on the outstanding warrants as well as additional charges.
