(Two Local Cities Choose new Leadership)....Brawley and El Centro have both reorganized.

The new Mayors and Mayor Pro Tems will serve the 2022 Calendar year. The Brawley City Council voting Sam Couchman is as the Cities new Mayor. The Mayor Pro-Tem is George Nava. The El Centro City Council Voted  for Councilman Tomas Oliva to serve as their new Mayor. They voted for Martha Cardenas Singh to serve as Mayor Pro-Tem. The Mayors in both cities are mostly symbolic and are chosen mostly on a set rotation, though Councils do not have to follow a set rotation.
