The National Weather Service ( NWS ) says there may be rain this week.

Quiet weather will continue through Tuesday but then a strong low pressure system will move into the Imperial Valley with the potential to bring rain and windy weather. The biggest impact will be Tuesday night. The potential for strong winds and precipitation including snow will be higher in the mountains between the Valley and San Diego.

Specifically for Imperial Valley and Yuma there is a 60 percent chance of showers after 4pm Tuesday and continuing through the night. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
