(Weather was horrible last weekend).....Customs and Border Protection says it was a very productive weekend.

  The San Diego Field Office for the CBP says the seized over $2.4 million in narcotics, weapons and currency. The Field Office covers San Diego and Imperial County's. They say a combined total of 367 packages were discovered in vehicles over the past weekend. The contents tested positive for methamohetamine, fentanyl and cocaine The narcotics were found in vehicle trunks, roof, firewall, air intake box, doors, floorboards, gas tanks and quarter panels. The narcotics seized had a combined weight of 472 pounds, with an estimated Street value of $2,483, 780. Officers also found a 9mm handgun, a 33 round extended magazine, 30 9mm rounds and marijuana. They also seized over $20,000 in undeclared cash. There were several arrests with the subjects turned over to Homeland Security Investigations.
