Temperatures may drop a bit over the next several days.

But, humidity and possibly rain will follow. According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the high pressure that has been positioned over the Southwest United States will move eastward while a low pressure system will move north from Mexico. This brings an increase in shower and thunderstorm activity with possible strong gusty winds. The moisture will only linger for two or three days before abnormally hot and dry weather returns mid-week. Over nite lows will retreat to the low 80's through the week.
