(New Library Director appointed this week).....Carla Mason was appointed to the position.

She will lead the El Centro Library and suport its mission of providing quality materials and programs to meet the El Centro Community's educational, informational, cultural and recreational needs. Mason has previously worked as Libraria at the Seattle Public Library, was branch supervisors at Goleta Valley Library, and manager of the Santa Clarita Public Library. Mason has a master's degree in Library and Information Science from Drexel University, and a bachelor's on Humanities from the University of Southern California.
