(Informing voters)...In preparation for the June Elections.

The first Candidate Forum of the season was held in Salton City. It featured the candidates in the race for Sheriff/Coroner, Hilton Smith and Fred Miramontes. COLAB has scheduled a series of forums the IID and County Supervisor races. The Coalition of Labor, Agriculture and Business of Imperial County says the forums allow to make educated decisions on June 7, or whenever they cast their ballots for the June election. The COLAB Forums begin April 18 and will feature the candidates for for IID Director Division 1. It will run from 6-7 pm in Condit Auditorium on Broadway in El Centro. On April 20, the Forum for Candidates in the IID Division 3 race will be held in Condit Auditorium from 6-7:30 pm. Another Forum for Division 1 IID Candidates will be held April 21 in Condit Auditorium from 6-7 pm. On April 26 a forum for Imperial County Board of Supervisors District 1 will be held at the Calexico City Hall from 6-7:15 pm. On April 27, the forum for the candidates in the race for Board of Supervisors District 5 will be held in the Holtville City Hall from 6-7:15 pm. All the Forums will live stream on COLAB's Facebook page and they will be recorded and posted on the COLAB website
