(Calipatria City Council reorganizes)....The Council met this week.

During the meeting the council voted on a new Mayor. It was the annual rotation. Following the vote, Mayor Huston Hisel turned the gavel over to New Mayor Javier Amezcua. The council named Maria Nava-Froelich as Mayor Pro-Tem. They will head the City Council through the next calendar year.
