U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents found something fishy Sunday.

At about 8:30 p.m. Sunday a car entered the downtown Calexico port of entry through the SENTRI lane. The car was referred to secondary inspection where a non-intrusive inspection of the vehicle was conducted. The port's imaging system observed irregularities in an ice chest in the trunk. A CBP K-9 team alerted to the ice chest. The ice chest was full of fish and 25 packages of methamphetamine. The drugs weighed nearly 50 pounds. The driver, a 34-year-old man, was turned over to Homeland Security Investigations.
