(New Courthouse in El Centro Opens January 2nd)...The dedication is next week.

A very special guest will attend the dedication on December 18. Chief Justice of California Patricia Guerrero will join the local judges and staff at the dedication. The new Courthouse is located at 650 Wake Avenue in El Centro. The Chief Justice is the daughter of  Mexican Immigrants and raised in Imperial County. She graduated at Imperial High School. The new El Centro Facility is the first new Courthouse to open in California in the past two years. The dedication ceremony is by invitation only and will not be open to the public.
