(Stop the spread of Fruit Flies)....That is a reminder from the County Ag Commissioner.

There are over 500 traps around Imperial County. So far, no Fruit Flies have been detected in Imperial County. They have been found nearby, however. The Oriental Fruit Fly quarantine has been expanded to Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. The quarantine now spreads across 553 square miles in Southern California. Residents can help keep the pest out of this county. When Traveling, do not bring home fresh fruit, vegetables or plants.. If you find a fruit fly, report it or dispose of it by double bagging it and placing it in the garbage. And cooperate with the Ag Commissioners staff if they want to place a trap on your property.
