(Residential Fire in Calexico)....The fire was reported Thursday.

A two alarm fire was reported at a residence in the 200 block of Daniels Street. The fire was near the Kennedy Gardens Elementary School. The school was not evacuated. There were three people in the home at the time of the fire. All three were able to get out without injury. Sources say it is believed the fire started in the laundry room. The official cause, however, remains under investigation. No injuries were reported. A damage estimate has not been made available.
