The City unveiled its $1.39 million field lighting investment this week. The improvements project includes 12 new replacement light poles made of steel that replaced old infrastructure that was damaged during a wind storm. The project was made possible through the use of Measure P funds. Measure P is a half cent sales tax that was passed by the citizens of El Centro in 2016.
