(IID Director Gina Young Dockstader elected to ACWA's region 9)....She was elected to serve on the Association of California Water Agency's Region 9 for the 2024-2025 term.

ACWA announced the results this week after finalizing it's Board Officer and Regional election. ACWA is the largest statewide coalition of public water agencies in the country where more than 460 public agency members collectively are responsible for 90% of the water delivered to cities, farms and businesses in California. Dockstader represents Imperial Irrigation District 3, which includes Brawley, Calipatria, Niland, and the Southeastern area of the Salton Sea. She was elected to the IID Board in 2022. G.Patrick O'Dowd of the Salton Sea Authority was elected Chair of the ACWA Region 9 Board.
