(New Brawley Middle School gets a new name).....The school is under construction.

The school had been named La Paloma. This week the school board changed that. They decided to recognize and honor two Brawley veterans and icons to the community. The school will be named in memory of Jose Padilla Sr. and Captain Scott Pace. It will be named Padilla-Pace Middle School. It will be the first new school constructed in Brawley in over 60 years.
