The Imperial Valley may soon see triple digit temperatures.

The National Weather Service says we can expect dry and tranquil weather conditions through the middle of next week. Temperatures will be near normal Easter Sunday but well above normal Monday through Wednesday. NWS says record highs may be possible with near 100 degrees on Wednesday.  A fast moving weather disturbance sweeping into the region during the latter half of next week should bring a temporary cooling trend as well as breezy conditions.

On Easter Sunday the forecast calls for a high near 92, jumping to 99 on Monday and 100 on Tuesday. Wednesday will see a high near 93 but with gusty winds up to 30 mph.
