(Building burns in Calexico)....The fire was reported at around 5:30 Thursday evening.

The fire scene was the Fallas Paredes Building. Second and Paulin Streets were closed to the public. Mutual aid was requested. Officials have not released many details. The cause does seem suspicious, since the Fallas Paredes building was empty at the time of the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
