The City of Calexico invites local artists to participate in a new project.

Artists can submit original artwork for the City's Utility Box Art Project. Nine artists will be selected and their work, following themes of Kindness, Encouragement, Hope, and Life,  will be transferred onto vinyl wraps that will transform common utility boxes into distinctive works of art.  Selected artists will receive a $200 stipend. Deadline for submission Friday, March 17, 2023.
