A motorcycle rider died Friday afternoon after an off road accident.
The accident was reported at about 4:42 p.m. Friday in the area by the Blu Inn near Ocotillo Wells on Highway78. No details on the accident are available. The California Highway Patrol, State Parks Rangers and the Imperial County Coroners Office responded to the accident.
