El Centro Police were alerted to a stolen truck traveling northbound on 4th Street Saturday morning.

The Ford Ranger pick-up was located in the 400 block of Olive Avenue. short time later. Two men were detained and one of them was arrested. Before being booked at Imperial County Jail uncharges of Auto Theft, the suspect told police he had swallowed a bag of fentanyl. The man was taken to El Centro Regional Medical Center and then booked into jail. The truck was returned to the registered owner.
