(Museum now has an Archivist)....The Board of Directors at the Museum recently made the announcement.

They hired Tyler Brinkerhoff to serve as the Pioneer's Museum's first archivist. Brinkerhoff moved to the desert from the east coast. He said he was excited to serve his new community in the preservation, documentation, conservation and exhibition of objects and archives from more than a century of Imperial Valley History. he said he immediately felt a connection with the stories of valley pioneers bringing water to the desert.. He has served in various museum archival and curatorial roles. He has also taught World and US History during his graduate program at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
