(Rain coming to the Desert Southwest)…..That is the forecast from the National Weather Service.
They say the region has gone 70 days since the last rainfall. The Weather service says a low-pressure system will bring widespread rainfall to the Desert Southwest beginning late Friday. They say this will continue through Saturday afternoon. They say the steadiest rain can be expected Friday night through Saturday morning. The system will also bring breezy to windy conditions, with the possibility of isolated lightening strikes.
