(El Centro Attorney announces candidacy)…Edgard Garcia is currently on the El Centro City Council.

He is serving as the Mayor Pro-Tem. Garcia announced recently that he will be running for District Attorney in the June election. He said he would be challenging District Attorney Gilbert Otero for the seat, however, Otero has not said if he will be seeking re-election.
