(Head-on Collision)….It was reported at just before 5:00 Monday morning.

The California Highway Patrol says the collision occurred on Highway 78, near Green Road. It involved a Ford SUV and a Chevy pickup. Major injuries were reported to the driver of each vehicle. The Highway was blocked to allow REACH Air Ambulance to land and transport the injured to a hospital, and to allow for investigation and clean-up of the roadway. The Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the collision.
