(Thursday was Red Shoe Day)…The day to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House in San Diego.

From 7:00 to 10:00 am nearly 700 volunteers manned 48 intersections around the county, collecting funds from motorists, pedestrians and others. Ronald McDonald House provides for families who have a child staying at a hospital in San Diego. Every year over 25 percent of those who use the Ronald McDonald House in San Diego are from Imperial County. They provide a home away from to keep families close while their child receives the care they need. For those who could not get out Thursday morning, they can still donate at participating McDonald’s Restaurants or online at redshoedayiv.com.
