(Respira Sano)…That is the name of a new study.
It is a research study conducted through the San Diego State University Research Foundation, the non-profit auxiliary organization of SDSU. Respira Sano will be partnering with Clinicas de Salud del Pueblo, Comite Civico del Valle, and California Breathing, the asthma education program of the California Department of Health. Respira Sano is funded by the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute. The purpose of the study is to reduce the burden of uncontrolled asthma in the lives of children with asthma and their families who live in Imperial County. They hope to achieve this by working with families of children 6-17 years with asthma, their healthcare providers, and communities in which they live. To participate in the study contact Respira Sano Project Manager Nadia Campbell at 619-594-2740.
