(Phase 2 funding for upgrades)…Phase 2 funding comes to $221,239.
The funding will come from DMV assessments. The upgrades are to the Imperial County Air Quality monitoring network. Brad Poiriez, Air Pollution Control Officer, told the Board of Supervisors Tuesday that the upgrades would allow for Real Time Monitoring, which will be posted to the Air Quality Web Page. All monitoring stations are being upgraded, except the one in Calexico. That station belongs to the state, and has already been upgraded.
