Nerves rattled in the North-End

(Swarm of small earthquakes)…Over 23 light to micro earthquakes were reported.

The US Geological Survey says the temblors hit in the Obsidian Butte area, near the Salton Sea. The Geological Survey has said earthquake swarms are not unusual for that area. The strongest earthquakes were a magnitude 4.1 that hit at 8:15 Wednesday night. There were two magnitude 3.3 temblors. One at 8:51 Wednesday night and the other at 10:06 pm. Other than a lot of rattled nerves, no damage or injury was reported.
