(Supervisors meeting, in two parts)…..The Board held a morning session in El Centro.
The morning session was the Board’s normal closed session. The Public portion of the meeting is being held Tuesday evening in Calipatria. The agenda includes items dealing with county road repairs. They will discuss appointments to the Workforce Development Board. Supervisors Board Chairman Ryan Kelley will discuss the new County Flag, and the Board will discuss a grant from the California Department of Water Resources. The $199,828 grant is to help pay for technical assistance services for an Imperial County Groundwater Model update. The Treasurer/Tax Collector will give a report concerning the sale of tax defaulted property. A special resolution honoring Jose Flores for receiving the American Civic Education Teacher Award will be presented to the Brawley Union High School teacher.
