(The counting is not over, yet)….The Count for Tuesday’s General Election is not final.
Interim Registrar of Voters Debra Porter says there are still Vote By Mail ballots that were dropped off at polling places and provisional ballots to be counted. As close as some of the races were, some could conceivably change. Porter said the number of ballots left to be counted has not been determined. She said once that determination is made, the counting will continue. In some of the School and Special Districts some candidates are separated by a single vote. Porter did not say when another update would be released. Elections has about a month to certify a final count.
