(The 111th edition of the California Mid-Winter Fair and Fiesta)…The countdown is on.
The Fair starts its ten day run this Friday. There is one major change. Gates will open at 3:00 pm, instead of the traditional 12:00 noon opening. The opening day will continue the tradition of a Military and Senior Citizen Appreciation Day. On Friday Admission is free to all military personnel and veterans along with one guest. Proper military or veteran’s identification is required. Also Friday, admission is free to Senior Citizens with a special coupon. The opening weekend will feature the Traxxas Monster Trucks. Saturday will be Freestyle Motocross. Sunday is the traditional Dia De La Familia.. There will be a lot of music over the weekend. Friday will be Walk Like A Man, Tribute to Frankie Valli. Saturday’s concert will be Kalimba, a tribute to Earth, Wind And Fire. Sunday will feature Grupo Regrado and Codigo 442.
