(Yuma woman suffers major injuries)….The California Highway Patrol says the woman was ejected from her rolling vehicle.
It was reported at 4:45 Friday morning. The CHP says 26-year-old Alysha Montoya was driving south on Dogwood Road. South of McCabe Road she allowed her Chevy Tahoe to run off the west edge of Dogwood. The Highway Patrol says she appears to have taken evasive action by over correcting to the left. This caused her to lose control of the vehicle. The CHP says the vehicle overturned and rolled to its point of landing on its wheels on the west shoulder of Dogwood.. They say Montoya was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She suffered major injuries and was flown to Desert Regional Hospital by REACH Air Ambulance. Montoya’s current condition is not known.
