(Three Alarm Fire)….It was reported in Calexico.
The fire was first reported at around 11:00 Wednesday morning. The blaze was just across the border, at 1st and Paulin in Calexico, next to the Greyhound Bus Station. Thick smoke from the fire hampered border crossers, mainly pedestrians. All Calexico firefighters were activated before the 3rd alarm went out. Responding to the call was El Centro, County, Holtville and NAF Fire Departments. Two Calexico firefighters were injured in the fire. They were treated and released. Officials have not given a damage estimated or a cause for the fire.
