(Woman rescued)…It happened late last week.

Border Patrol agents were working about 8 miles west of the Calexico Downtown Port of Entry, when they heard screams for help. They were coming from the All American Canal. The agents arrived at the scene to find a woman having trouble in the canal. The agents deployed a water floatation device, and were able to pull the woman to safety. Two men who were also in the canal were able to swim to the shore. All three were determined to be Mexican Nationals, in the US illegally. They were taken into custody and processed for deportation.
