(Thursday morning collision)….It apparently sounds worse than it was.
The California Highway Patrol says at 8:47 Thursday morning a Nissan Altima collided with a train at West Cole Road near Pruett Road. The CHP says there were no injuries in the incident. The Nissan did suffer significant damage and a tow-truck was needed. The Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the collision.
