(Man found in the seat of a car)…Literally.
It happened at the Calexico Downtown Port. In the early morning hours Monday, an 18 year old woman drove into the port driving a black Mitsubishi. The Customs and Border Protection Officer referred the vehicle to the secondary inspection area. A CBP Canine team screened the vehicle and alerted to the rear seat. Officers searched the seat and found a 48 year old male Mexican citizen hidden within a non-factory compartment. Officers extracted the man from the vehicle and escorted him to a secure area for processing. The female driver, a US citizen was arrested and later booked into Imperial County Jail to await criminal proceedings.
