There's lots of things to keep you busy this weekend.
Friday is of course Valentine's Day and Mom-Sense at I.V. Life Center present " That's Amore" an evening of music and memories. The event includes an Italian meal and the cost is $15 per person. "That's Amore" will be held at the First Christian Church of El Centro from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. On Saturday it's the City of Calipatria 2020 Cleanup. Free collection of electronic waste , tires and more. The cleanup collection site will be at the Calipatria Public Works Yard from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
Also on Saturday it's " Blues , Brews & BBQ " as the City of Imperial celebrates Market Days from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in downtown Imperial. As a bonus the State of the City Address will be delivered by Mayor Darrell Pechtl at 6:30 p.m. on the main stage.
Sunday La Cachimba will be performing at the Imperial Valley Food Bank. It's a benefit concert to feed the hungry in Imperial County. The doors open at 6:00 p.m. with the concert starting at 6:30 p.m. in Imperial Grove at the Food Bank's new facility on Aten Road in Imperial. Tickets are $20.00 in advance or $25.00 at the door.
