(Centinela State Prison has a full-time Warden)….The Governor announced the appointment over the weekend
. Amy Miller was named permanent Warden for the Centinela State Prison. 39 years old Miller is a Brawley resident. She has served as acting Warden of the facility since 2012. Miller was Chief Deputy Warden at Centinela and before that was Associate Warden from 2010 to 2012. Miller has also served several positions at the Calipatria State Prison, including facility Captain from 2007-2010, correctional Lieutenant and sergeant. She began as a correctional officer in 1996. Miller has also served as a Correctional Captain at the California Institute for Women. Her new position does not require senate confirmation. She will be paid an annual salary of $130,668.
