There is a new Chief of the U.S. Border Patrol.
27-year veteran Rodney S. Scott is now Chief , U.S. Border Patrol , U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Chief Scott entered duty in 1992 and over the years has served in various assignments including Chief Patrol Agent of the El Centro Sector , Deputy Chief Patrol Agent of the San Diego Sector , Assistant Chief of the CBP's Office of Anti-Terrorism in Washington , D.C. and most recently led the U.S. Border Patrol San Diego Sector.
