(24 year old arrested)…Among the charges, attempted homicide.
Yuma County Sheriff’s were called to East 38th Place at around 11:44 Saturday night. Officials say an argument escalated, and one of the men stabbed the other one. The victim ran from the residence to a neighbor’s house. The suspect followed. The victim was allowed in the neighbor’s house, and the suspect forced his way in. The suspect tried to continue the assault on the victim. The neighbors tried to stop the assault, and the suspect assaulted them, as well. One of the neighbors sustained injuries caused by a sharp object. Deputies arrived and arrested the suspect. He was identified as 24 year old D’andre Boode. The original victim was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center for treatment. The other victims were treated at the scene. Boode was booked into the Yuma County Detention Center charged with 2 counts of attempted homicide, two counts of aggravated assault and one count of endangerment.
