(More rain possible)…The National Weather Service says separate weather systems are passing through.
The strongest system may have been the one that hit Tuesday night. .05 inches of rain was recorded overnight at the County Airport. The rain caused local flooding around the Imperial Valley. Flooding was reported at several intersections, including Kloke and Cole Roads in Calexico, Orchard Road in Holtville, and Ogilby Road was closed from Interstate 8 to Highway 78 due to flooding and debris in the roadway. Flooding was also reported at Worthington and Cooley Roads. The Weather Service says there is a chance of more rain and high winds Wednesday, with a chance for more rain Thursday, before clearing up late Thursday into Friday.
