( Man lost)…He was rescued earlier this month.

San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents noticed a man walking along the US/Mexico Boundary near Jacumba. The agents questioned the man and determined the 69 year old was a Mexican National. He was taken to the Border Patrol Station for further questioning. They soon realized the man had a severe cognitive disorder. After extensive research, the man’s family was located in Tijuana. They also learned the man suffered from dementia. The man had left his home, wandered across the border and got lost in the high desert of east San Diego County. The family had been searching for the man for nearly a week. The family arranged for the man’s safe return to his home.
