(Previously deported gang member arrested)…Border Patrol agents made the arrest.
The agents arrested the man after he entered the US illegally in Calexico. He was taken to the El Centro Sector Station for processing. A records check found the 35 year old was previously charged and convicted of shooting at an inhabited dwelling. The man was sentenced to 10 years in prison, and deported from the country in 2014. It was also revealed the man was a member of the Sureno Street Gang. The suspect, a Mexican National, was taken into federal custody pending prosecution of federal crimes.
