The United States Geological Survey recorded a minor earthquake Monday afternoon. The USGS recorded the magnitude 3.4 temblor at 12:01 p.m. Monday. The epicenter was 3 miles northeast of Anza , California , near Borrego Springs. There were no reports of injury or damage.
