(Chinese National arrested)…It happened Tuesday evening.
The 22 year old man was entering the US at the Calexico Port of Entry on a tourist visa. The Customs and Border Protection officer at the east port checked the trunk of the vehicle the man was driving. Inside he discovered two Chinese nationals who were not authorized to enter the US. The 22 year old was arrested and booked into County Jail, charged with attempted smuggling.
