The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of Yuma and Imperial Counties.
Shortly before 6:00 p.m. Tuesday the National Weather Service reported a severe thunderstorm was located near Gordon's Well in eastern Imperial County. The storm was moving southeast at about 10 miles per hour. Wind gusts were measured at up to 60 mph. Locations impacted include Gordon's Well , Algodones Dunes and Andrade. Interstate 8 in eastern Imperial County is in the path of the storm. The storm was expected to pass after about 30 minutes.
