(Almost 100 pounds of meth seized)…It happened Tuesday at the Andrade Port of Entry.
A pick-up entered the Port Tuesday morning. A canine narcotics detection team alerted to the vehicle and it was sent to the secondary inspection area. Customs and Border Protection officers searched the vehicle and removed 96 packages from various locations of the vehicle. The packages weighed a total of 99.78 pounds. The 30 year old driver, Luis Bernal Villareal was arrested and turned over to Homeland Security Investigations agents. He was booked into County Jail. No bail was set.
