(New River Status Report)…It will be part of a Forum this Thursday.
The Forum will be held at the Calexico Woman’s Club, 320 Heber Avenue in Calexico, beginning at 6:00 pm. The Forum will be held the same day the bidding closes for the first phase of construction on the New River Parkway Project. A summary of the bids will be presented to the Calexico City Council at their meeting September 4th. The forum Thursday will be a status report on what has happened in the clean-up efforts of the New River, and what projects are still ahead. The Parkway Project may be updated, as well. The public is encouraged to attend the forum.
